How to Backup

Creating you first backup the wizard will start automatically when you run the backup software for the first time.

Here we have created a “File backupset” and given it the name “Data” to create a backup of company documents.

Here we can select the quick pick or Documents, Favourites and Windows Mail email, these have all been selected and “Advanced” button on the right allows users to browse the file system

 Here is a selection of the computers files system a selection of the “Data” directory has been made and all files and folders inside of this D:\Data directory are automatically selected for backup.

Now the selection of the data has been made, a schedule must be created. Here the Schedule has been made for Monday to Friday 6:30pm.

Now that the data has been chosen and the schedule created the next prompt is to create an encryption key for this Backupset. By entering a password you file will be encrypted during the backup process.

 Save the newly created Backup Set (Click save top right of the main menu). Now there is a new backup Set created with a scheduled backup.
